• Location data (beyond what iOS requires for Bluetooth scanning)
• Any content from your Insta360 camera

1.2 Data We DO Collect

• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data to identify and fix app issues
• Basic Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to understand app performance
• Device Information: Basic device information (iOS version, device model) for technical support
• Bluetooth Data: Only for connecting to your Insta360 camera (device names, connection status). This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for:

• Improving app stability and performance
• Fixing bugs and crashes
• Understanding how users interact with the app
• Providing technical support when needed
• Enabling Bluetooth connectivity to your Insta360 camera

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only data sharing occurs with:

• Apple: Standard iOS crash reporting and App Store analytics
• Google Firebase: Anonymous crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) and basic app performance statistics (Firebase Analytics) to help us identify issues and improve stability. Data is processed securely according to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Insta360 SDK: The app uses the official Insta360 Camera SDK for camera communication. No personal data is transmitted to Insta360.

4. Permissions We Request

Our app requests the following permissions and why:

• Bluetooth: Required to scan for, discover, and connect to your Insta360 camera. Uses iOS Bluetooth framework (CBCentralManager) and the Insta360 Camera SDK.
• Local Network (CarPlay): Required for Apple CarPlay communication between the iPhone app and the in-car display.
• Internet / Network State: Used to transmit anonymous crash logs and to open support or privacy policy links in Safari.

Note: Unlike Android, iOS does not require location permission for Bluetooth scanning.

5. Insta360 SDK

This app integrates the official Insta360 Camera SDK to communicate with Insta360 cameras over Bluetooth. The SDK is used solely for camera control (mode switching, recording, settings). No camera content, footage, or personal data is transmitted via the SDK.

6. Apple CarPlay

This app uses Apple's CarPlay framework. CarPlay communication is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure. No data from the CarPlay session is stored or transmitted by us.

7. Data Security

• All data transmission uses secure HTTPS protocols
• No sensitive personal data is stored locally or transmitted
• Bluetooth data (camera connection) never leaves your device

8. Data Retention

• Crash reports: Retained for 90 days to analyze and fix issues
• No personal data is retained beyond app usage

9. Your Rights Under Privacy Laws

9.1 General Rights

Since we don't collect personal information or require accounts, there's no personal data to access, modify, or delete. However, you can:

• Uninstall the app to stop all data collection
• Disable analytics sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements
• Contact us with any privacy concerns

9.2 GDPR (European Union)

If you are in the European Union, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to Access: Request information about what data we process about you
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
• Right to Object: Object to processing of your data

9.3 CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)

We don't sell personal information and don't collect personal information as defined by CCPA.

10. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
